My name is Bryan W. Alaspa and I am a native of Chicago.  I have been writing in one form or another since I sat down at my mother’s typewriter while in the third grade.  I have published several novels and have also published several works of non-fiction.

I am a huge fan of jazz music that started in college when I worked at the campus radio station.  The format there was Jazz and the first album I fell in love with was Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue.  I am a fan, not  not really an expert.  I do my best to follow jazz and blues music in one of the greatest jazz and blues towns: Chicago.
