Looking for a blues festival? Try Spain!

Published by balaspa at 12:00 am under blues, festivals, music, musicians Edit This

I love writing for this blog because you can reach people all around the world.  This happened at the previous jazz and blues blog I had as well.  I loved getting comments and e-mails from people all around the world who were trying to promote jazz and blues festivals and music.  I think that’s great.

Blues and jazz are universal forms of music.  Some of the greatest jazz the world has ever heard came out of Cuba, for example.  Blues music has influenced bands of all kinds of music around the planet.  Some of the biggest blues fans you could find were the metal-heads who started heavy metal in the UK back during the 60s.  Led Zeppeling was, essentially, a blues band when they started, folks.

So, it was with great pleasure that someone posted a comment on here a couple of days ago about a blues festival coming up in Spain.  Malaga, Spain, is the location and it is the Coin Acoustic Blues Festival.  I am happy to promote it and mention it.  I know traveling is tough, but if you have vacation time and are looking for a place to go..Spain ain’t such a bad place to hang out.

Here are the details as they were posted on the comments section:

The First Coin Acoustic Blues Festival

Check out the MySpace page and check out the music.  I think it’s pretty cool.  I love that they have the MySpace page, too, so that they can update it regularly with video and blogs.  Bravo, Spain!
