The weekend is here and there are probably a lot of you slipping slowly into the doldrums of winter.  The only holiday we have coming up is Valentine’s Day and, if you’re like me, this does not spark much warmth or holiday spirit.  If you are a guy, this generally brings about night terrors and sweating and lots of stress and worry.  If you are a woman you are just ready to kill your husband or boyfriend for not getting you the right thing.  I swear there are women who base the status of their relationship solely on what happens during this stupid holiday.

The snow is on the ground again.  As I write this the sun is out but the weather guy is screaming that a snowstorm of epic proportions is headed for Chicago. Mother Nature sure doesn’t do much to help you feel any better, does she?  In short, it’s a great weekend to go see some live jazz.
