Jazz at the Green Mill for New Years Eve
I realized, at some point, that I had a good thing going on here. With New Years Eve approaching like a runaway freight train, I have plenty of potential blog material by just checking out the various jazz and blues clubs and see what they are doing for that particular night. There is no reason to stay at home (unless you are agoraphobic, of course) on that particular night if you are a jazz or blues fan. Every club has something going on.
The Green Mill is another one of those jazz clubs that has been around forever around here. Al Capone reportedly had a booth in the place. Yes, if you are able to get there early enough you might be able to find the same place where Scarface would sit, run his empire, smoke a cigar, plan someone’s murder and enjoy some great jazz. Nothing says history and jazz more than that.
