My Pick Concert for Thanksgiving Weekend in Chicago

Published by balaspa at 12:00 am under Chicago, blues, concerts, music, musicians, records Edit This

There appears to be a ton of concerts going on in Chicago this weekend for jazz and blues fans.  So much that, I feel, it would be impossible to see them all.  Of course, this is not a hard prediction to make since many are taking place at the same time and, unless you’ve learned how to divide into two people, it would be physically impossible for you to attend all of them.

Still, I have decided to pick one that I think you should really make an effort to attend.  To me, there is nothing cooler than a record company party.  I just think celebrating a major accomplishment  of a record company or band is a cool thing.  So, that is my pick for the show to check out this weekend.  Plus, it’s a blues show and nothing screams blues like the holidays, at least for me.
