Well, the jazz and blues musicians may have taken the actual day of Thanksgiving off.  I don’t know what musicians who are on the road do on Thanksgiving.  Do they eat turkey?  Do they just sleep in like always?

The weather here in Chicago is not predicted to be very bad.  That’s a nice thing.  Between the insane shopping, I recommend checking out a cool jazz or blues show below.  In fact, it looks like a busy weekend once you get past Thanksgiving.
