Buddy Guy on David Letterman

Published by balaspa at 7:14 am under Chicago, blues, concerts, music, musicians Edit This

Buddy Guy is a living legend.  He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was a major influence on guitar-greats from Eric Clapton to Jimi Hendrix.  He has been around for a long time, had a huge rise, fell a bit and has now come back to enjoy his legendary status.  He even runs a great blues club here in Chicago known as Buddy Guy’s Legends

I am a huge fan of his album “Sweet Tea.”  He does some licks on that album that would make Hendrix weep.  He has a new album out right now called “Skin Deep” and just last night (October 8, 2008) he was on David Letterman.  Below is a YouTube recording of that performance.  Check him out now!

What a great song, but what a weird guitar. Does anyone know what kind it is?
