Well, fall is definitely here in Chicago this weekend.  The temps are falling to a blissful temperature.  I love fall myself and I love it when the air turns crisp and cool and you have to pull out that sweatshirt.  The leaves are falling from the trees already, littering the ground.  The sky turns that amazing crystal blue that you only find in large cities during fall and winter.In short, it’s the perfect time to go for a nice long walk in the afternoon and then into a warm, stuff, cramped jazz or blues club at night.  

Lots of jazz shows, in particular, this weekend in the Chicago area.  Thanks goes out, as always, to radio station WDCB  for the information about the jazz and blues shows around town this weekend.  The great thing about them is that they include the suburban shows as much as the downtown shows. 

By the way, besides the M Lounge, if I had to pick a jazz club you HAVE to check out while in Chicago, it would be the Velvet Lounge.  I’ll have more on that later.
